The hundred board is useful for number recognition, number sequencing, counting, patterning,
possibly skip counting(depending on your method) most of all it’s perfect for just reinforcing
the understanding of numbers from one to one-hundred! The Coogam hundred board is very
helpful for children who are building fluency with numbers to 100 and developing counting skills.
With a hundreds chart, numbers read from left to right in rows of 10, starting from the top left
corner with the number 1, all the way to 100 in the bottom right corner.
The 100 number board encourage layer learning. Coogam Hundred charts are an amazing tool for
teaching all sorts of math skills: counting, adding, multiplication, problem solving, skip counting,
and more. Four double-sided activity cards include fun games for kids to play with: doubling,
snake ladders, subtraction, addition, skip counting, and a white number card with number 1-100 on
one side and blank grid on the other side. While children learn to form numbers, they simultaneously
learn basic number concepts such as the order of numbers and the relative size of numbers.
Basic calculation skills are also simulated as children learn that ‘more than’ means add and
‘less than’ means subtract.
